Num Num is the catering company of the Thai-Dutch chef Angkanang Pimwankum.
We specialize in authentic Thai dishes and unique Thai-Dutch recipes from Angkanang itself.
All our dishes are made with sustainable, organic, and fresh local ingredients whenever possible. We are proud that this allows us to provide healthy, high-quality meals responsibly while preserving authentic Thai flavors.

Each dish is available in portions of 10 or more. Generally, each main course is enough for one person.

We cater for events from 10 to 500 people.
For up to 20 people, we deliver ready-made meals in sustainable, plastic-free packaging.
You can pick up your order from us in the Rivierenbuurt neighborhood of Amsterdam, or have it delivered to your location for a small transportation fee.
For groups of 20 or more, we'll create a customized quote. We can also deliver the catering to your location in chafing dishes. Food can also be prepared on-site if the necessary facilities are available.

THE STORY BEHIND NUM NUM
Num Num Thai Food was founded by musicians from the Dutch-Thai band Apichat Pakwan (see: https://www.facebook.com/ApichatPakwanOfficial ).
Due to the Covid-19 crisis, all their planned concerts were canceled. To avoid becoming dependent on government support, the musicians decided to start a Thai catering business.
Num Num's chef Angkanang Pimwankum worked at the 5-star Pullman G hotel on Silom Road in Bangkok. In the Netherlands, she developed into an independent chef at the restaurant and catering company Fames in Amsterdam.
Besides catering, the band still makes music, and Angkanang regularly performs as a DJ and VJ including at WOMEX in Portugal .
